Developed through the combined direction of casting, styling, beauty, set design, and cinematic lighting, the production operated at the level of international luxury publishing and campaign-scale editorial execution. Casting direction by Evelien Joos, set design by Lauren Bahr, hair by Akki Shirakawa, and makeup by Fulvia Farolfi contributed to a visually unified system where atmosphere, composition, movement, and tonal precision had to remain consistent across a large ensemble cast and high-output production schedule.
Sebastian Beckmann contributed through lighting execution and film handling under Assisting Productions, collaborating within a demanding studio workflow requiring technical precision, timing, adaptability, and coordination across lighting transitions, medium-format film execution, and multi-subject editorial setups.
The resulting imagery reflects the type of visual production associated with elite fashion publishing, internationally recognized editorial campaigns, and New York’s top-tier luxury fashion industry environment, where lighting craftsmanship and production discipline operate together at publication level.
My role within this environment focused on lighting and digital execution at a level where precision, speed, and consistency are non-negotiable. Working across complex setups with multiple looks and talent transitions, the responsibility is not only technical accuracy, but maintaining visual continuity under production pressure.
In this context, lighting is not support — it is structure. It defines skin, silhouette, and material response across different bodies, tones, and wardrobe, ensuring that the final image holds editorial integrity from capture to delivery.
This experience reflects the ability to operate inside high-demand productions, collaborating with top-tier creative teams while ensuring that the technical foundation of the image performs at the level required for international publication.
